Details:”As a consequence of pervasive computing <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pervasive_computing> , interaction design is poised to become one of the main liberal arts of the twenty-first century.” Malcolm McCullough <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malcolm_McCullough>

Generally, Richard will be demonstrating that interactivity, “interaction design” is the amalgam of several disciplines, and today well surpasses the digital media space. The skills nurtured in IxD are sought after in all facets of human creation, use mechanics of financial transactions, product design, new forms of social technologies, architecture, City planning, urban computing and beyond. ” Interaction” is swallowing the world whole as hard things begin to adopt soft qualities. Are we prepared?

This talk will centralize around the several emerging forms of interaction, and the role interface and interaction plays in the social construction of reality and the creation of new value within human architectures of desire and motivation.
